1. Who you are dealing with

ProofDigest is a service of Point2Create BV, Energieweg 1, 3133 EB Vlaardingen, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 63324547.

2. What this service is

ProofDigest collects published scientific research and describes, per study, how strong the evidence is. We summarise and we grade; we do not carry out research ourselves and we do not treat anyone.

3. What this service is not

This is not medical advice and ProofDigest is not a care provider. Nothing here replaces the judgement of a doctor. We give no doses, no personal prognosis and no reading of your test results. Always discuss symptoms, medication and treatment choices with your own clinician.

Research changes. A grade reflects what was known when we last checked, and a study that looked convincing can be overtaken. We correct what we find, but we cannot promise that every page is current at the moment you read it.

4. Your account

An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it. You may delete your account at any moment; what you saved goes with it.

5. The subscription

• €5 per month or €49 per year, unless a different price is shown at the moment you subscribe. Prices include VAT.
• It renews automatically for the same period until you cancel.
• You cancel from your own account page, without having to ask anyone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you already paid for runs out normally.
• We can change the price, but not during a period you already paid for, and not without telling you beforehand.

Your right to withdraw

Because this is a digital service, European consumer law gives you fourteen days to change your mind. If you ask us to open the full archive to you straight away, you waive that right for the part you have already used — we will ask you to confirm that at the moment you subscribe. Outside of that, write to us within fourteen days and you get your money back.

6. What belongs to whom

The scientific publications we point to belong to their authors and publishers; we reproduce their abstracts as source material, with attribution and a link to the original. Our own texts — the write-ups, the grading, the selection — belong to Point2Create BV. You may quote them with attribution; copying the archive wholesale is not allowed.

7. What we will never do

No advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored content, no selling of products. If a manufacturer funded a study, that appears on the page as a fact. This is checked automatically every night rather than promised in a sentence.

8. Liability

We build this carefully and we correct mistakes when we find them. We cannot be held liable for decisions taken on the basis of what you read here — that is what your doctor is for — nor for the site being briefly unavailable. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the damage occurred.

9. Which law applies

Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to the court where you live.

10. Changes

If these terms change we say so on this page and, for anything that matters to you as a subscriber, by email before it takes effect.
